Director of Photography Lighting Cameraman

The experience of working as a lighting cameraman for more than two decades has brought me to a place where I am able to help make beautiful, thought-provoking moving images. I went to art school and film school, worked in a camera facilities house and as a freelance camera assistant, all of which provided me with a thorough training in the craft before I set myself up as a freelance lighting cameraman and director of photography in 1997. I am now focusing on quality arts programming and documentaries, while continuing my commercial, promo and corporate work.

I own a complete shooting kit including a Sony F-55 camera, prime and zoom film lenses and an extensive lighting package. Everything is set up so it can hit the ground running. All loaded in my five seater VW Transporter.

I pride myself on being an able, reliable and pleasant addition to any shoot.
